The Places Of Lake Tahoe

There are many places around Lake Tahoe that truly take one's breath away. Many of these are hikes to and around the surrounding sierra lakes. These lakes are found in a massive area beginning southwest of the lake reaching up towards the northwest region of the lake's surrounding mountains. Some of these hikes are short and fairly easy (well, as easy as it gets at 6200 feet!). Other hikes can turn out to be a tremendous workout. At the end of all these hikes is almost always a reward far greater than the sacrifice made to get there. I've listed several of these hikes and lakes here on this link.
