Touch O' Texas

Even though this web site is dedicated to Tahoe, I feel somewhat compelled to include a little about where we live. To most people Texas is just this HUGE land mass on the edge of Mexico. Well, that part is true, but Texas is so much more. Texas is one of those places that you'd swear you'd never live, but if you were to spend a few days here, I can guarantee that your mind would change a lot faster than you think!

The first thing I noticed here (and it seems to leave the greatest impression on visitors) is how nice the people are around here. Oh, sure, they have their faults.....like their driving for instance......

One of the most awesome aspects of the state are the wild flowers that blanket the enormous fields every spring. The most famous of these flowers is the Blue Bonnet.
